^ ^ Online Shopping

DVDs may now be purchased using our online shopping facility. In the UK we usually call it a shopping trolley, you may prefer to call it a shopping cart! In our case, the DVDs are small and light so we'll call it a shopping basket on this web page. Secure payments can be made via WorldPay using any of the following cards:

Visa Delta,   Visa Electron,   Visa,   MasterCard,   JCB,   Solo,   Maestro,   payments powered by WorldPay

Whatever your national currency, you can purchase DVDs at the British prices shown - the final amount will be converted into your own currency and deducted from your account. You can use, for instance, the Quick Converter at www.xe.com to give you a guide to your expenditure.

For each transaction, irrespective of how many items are being purchased, a 1 charge will be added. It will be shown as shipping but actually represents a contribution to the additional bank charges involved.

To add a DVD to your basket, use the nearby button - it will be either immediately below or to the right of the DVD description. If you want to buy another DVD, use the CONTINUE SHOPPING button to get back to this page.

If you have already started making purchases, will show you what's currently in your shopping basket.

You can take an item out of your basket at any time you have the contents on screen by setting the quantity of the item to zero and pressing the RECALCULATE button.

^ ^ OXFORDSHIRE QUARTER SESSIONS RECORDS 1687 to 1830

The principal contents of this DVD are scanned images of the eleven volume set of Oxfordshire Quarter Session summaries and calendars compiled by Canon Oldfield early in the 20th century. They cover the period from 1687 through to 1830. They do not represent the entirety of the Quarter Sessions records for that time period (Oxford City and some boroughs have their own records, see the extracts from the fifth edition of Quarter Sessions Records for Family Historians which are on the disc)  but go a long way towards making these important and useful records available to family historians.

The DVD comes packaged with copy of the OFHS Members' publication for 2007 – a 32 page A5 booklet containing a detailed introduction to Oxfordshire Quarter Sessions Records.

We have a web page of QS DVD Samples to give you a flavour of what the records can reveal.

The DVD costs 35.00 and contains 3.6Gb of data files including the full text of the booklet and more than 8,700 scanned images of Canon Oldfield's eleven volumes which have hitherto only been available at Oxfordshire Record Office (they hold the only copy of this valuable work).

Please note this publication is on DVD. The disc can only be read in a DVD reader drive, a CD reader drive will not be able to read the disc. For technical enquiries about the DVD please email:  qs-dvd@ofhs.org.uk
