| Open Day - Saturday 2 October 2010 |
|---|
| Note the details below still relate to our 2009 Open Day We will be in Woodstock again for 2010 |
|
This year's Open Day will be held in the Marlborough Enterprise Centre, just outside Woodstock. As usual it will run from 10am to 4pm. This new venue will afford us more, flatter exhibition space and more car parking spaces. We hope the improved accessibility will be appreciated by both exhibitors and visitors alike. The location: Marlborough Enterprise Centre The Open Day will feature the usual assortment of visiting Societies, publishers, dealers in second hand books and postcards, and the like. Our own Society's library and search services will be available for consultation, whilst we will also be manning a beginners' helpdesk. Additionally, there will be computing demonstrations, which will give advice on such things as which genealogical software package to choose, and the use of the internet in family history. The stands will be spread across both the MEC Hall and the adjoining Sports Hall. Admission to the Open Day is free, as is the on-site car
park. |
