Holford Centre Monthly Computer Open Day

Open Day - Saturday 20 September 2008

This year's Open Day will be held in our regular meeting venue - the Exeter Hall in Kidlington, just north of Oxford.

The venue is situated on a frequent bus route, and is easily reached by public transport. Those travelling by car will find Kidlington close to the main A34 and A40 trunk roads, as well as to the M40 motorway. There is limited free car parking on site.

As usual it will run from 10am to 4pm.

The Open Day will feature the usual assortment of visiting Societies, publishers, dealers in second hand books and postcards, and the like. Our own Society's library and search services will be available for consultation, whilst we will also be manning a beginners' helpdesk. Additionally, there will be computing demonstrations, which will give advice on such things as which genealogical software package to choose, and the use of the internet in family history.

Admission to the Open Day is free, as is the on-site car park.
Light refreshments will be on sale at reasonable prices.
