Holford Centre Opening days/times
On the first and third Tuesdays (10:00–16:00) of most months. With regret the Society have decided to close the research facilities at Holford Centre and envisage gradual closure leading up to end of our lease in june 2014. Further decisions re opening times etc. will be announced later in 2013.

The Holford Centre - OFHS's Research Centre
The Society's Research Centre is based at the Society's premises at: The Holford Centre School Lane Stanton St John OXFORD OX33 1ET The Centre's telephone number is 01865 358151 (+44 1865 358151 from outside the UK) and when the Centre is closed calls will, if possible, be redirected to the Society's helpline. The Holford Centre is located just off the B4027 Wheatley to Islip road. The turning for School Lane is well signposted, and is diagonally opposite the Talkhouse (formerly George) public house. This map may help you find the Centre (indicated by the arrow on the central map square). When visiting the Holford Centre by car, please be sure to use the car park of the Talkhouse pub and not the playground space behind the Centre. A limited bus service also runs Monday to Saturday inclusive between Oxford city centre (St Aldates) and the village. The Research Centre is open to both members and non-members of the Society. Its use is free of charge to members, whilst non-members are asked to pay a nominal fee of Ł1 per session - which can be avoided by joining the Society!
