The package consists of: a 32 page A5 booklet containing a detailed introduction to Oxfordshire Quarter Sessions Records and a DVD containing over 3.6Gb of data files including  the full text of the booklet and  more than 8,700 scanned images of Canon Oldfield's eleven volumes which have hitherto only been available at Oxfordshire Record Office (they hold the only copy of this valuable work).

Volume 11 contains the main name index, if you were hunting for the name Pulker, you would find:

^ ^ Samples from Volume 5: Accounts
Recently someone expressed interest (in an email) in finding out more about the death of Edward BROOKER in 1794. The Quarter Sessions don't provide any detail of his death but they do provide the name of the coroner who held the inquest into Edward's death, this by virtue of accounting for payments to the coroner. In volume 5 we find, in the records for Trinity 1794: 9d per mile eh!
