Our online shop is spread across 5 pages, one each for DVDs, CDs, books, searches and subscriptions. These items are also available for ordering by post, each page gives details. While postal orders must be sent to the appropriate person for each type of sales item, online orders can contain a mix of items from the four pages.

The prices shown here include postage worldwide and VAT for UK and EC destinations.
We aim to despatch goods within 14 days and often do so within 7 days. However, volunteers do sometimes fall ill or take holidays so please allow 28 days from your order's likely receipt date in Oxford, or from placing your order on the shopping cart, before reporting its non-delivery. Please note too that when purchasing online, the payment will be collected from your credit card account immediately.

Various items may now be purchased using our online shopping facility. In the UK we usually call it a shopping trolley, you may prefer to call it a shopping cart! In our case, the items are mostly small and light so we'll call it a shopping basket on this web page. Secure payments can be made via WorldPay using any of the following cards: Whatever your national currency, you can purchase items at the British prices shown - the final amount will be converted into your own currency and deducted from your account. You can use, for instance, the Quick Converter at www.xe.com to give you a guide to your expenditure. For each transaction, irrespective of how many items are being purchased, a £1 charge will be added. It will be shown as shipping but actually represents a contribution to the additional bank charges involved. To add an item to your basket, use the nearby button - it will be either immediately below or to the right of the item description. If you want to buy another item, use the CONTINUE SHOPPING button to get back to the shop. If you have already started making purchases, will show you what's currently in your shopping basket. You can take an item out of your basket at any time you have the contents on screen by setting the quantity of the item to zero and pressing the RECALCULATE button.

Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 - applicable in the United Kingdom and European Union only. A customer has the right to cancel an order for goods within seven working days of the receipt of the goods. This seven day period excludes Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Written notification of intention to cancel should be received by the Society within the "cooling off" period. On receipt of due notice, the Society will refund the retail sale price of the goods if they are returned in a re-saleable condition. The return of the goods is at the customer's risk, and the costs involved must be met by the customer. The Society will process the refund within thirty days of receipt of the returned goods.
