Hugh Kearsey R.I.P.

Please give a thought for Jean Kearsey and family today (Thursday 6 August) as they gather for Hugh's funeral. Hugh will be long remembered for all he did for Oxfordshire FHS and will be missed by many people in the family history world.

COVID-19 lockdown
We are not yet in a position to predict when we might restart regular meetings in the Exeter Hall, we are rescheduling meetings or, in some cases, rearranging them to take place online. The AGM will be rescheduled when we are confident that we can resume meeting in the Exeter Hall.

We are holding monthly (or more frequent) meetings online but these are proving sufficiently popular that we cannot open then up to non-members. Membership costs just £9 (UK individual membership) so access to all our online meetings is a bargain.

As Oxfordshire History Centre and all Oxfordshire libraries are closed, we can no longer offer our helpdesk sessions.

This covers both St Mary's Church and the adjacent Parish Cemetery, which together amount to 1333 separate monuments and make this one of the biggest churchyards we have tackled. Congratulations to all involved.

Parish Register Transcripts - dates covered
This PDF of the sales pages from our 2016 Members' Handbook details, CD by CD the dates covered by our transcriptions. Note the data was correct in March 2016.

We also have a web page detailing the parish by parish coverage of our Search Service.

It is important to note that for various reasons the coverage dates for our transcripts may not match those of our Search Service.
