Samples from Volume 5: Accounts
|Recently someone expressed
interest (in an email) in finding out more about the death of Edward
BROOKER in 1794. The Quarter Sessions don't provide any detail of his
death but they do provide the name of the coroner who held the inquest
into Edward's death, this by virtue of accounting for payments to the
coroner. In volume 5 we find, in the records for Trinity 1794:
9d per mile eh!
